Daniel P.M. Jim, CFA
16-year veteran in the field of absolute return investing with a focus in the Greater China region. Started off his career with Nomura International and has extensive working relationships with major European institutions including mutual funds, insurance, proprietary desks and super-nationals. Daniel founded Tripod Management in 1999 as a pioneer in Greater China absolute return investing, and earned his Bachelor and Master degrees at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and SDA Bocconi in Milan, Italy respectively.
Derek M.F. Chan
23-year veteran in the Asian financial markets. Held various senior positions at major financial institutions in London and Hong Kong, including Hoare Govett, Robert Fleming, Jardine Fleming and Nomura International, and has extensive working relationships with top Asian specialist fund managers in Europe and Hong Kong. Derek has a BA degree from Whittier College, USA.
Mark K.Y. Chan
17-year veteran in global financial markets. Held various senior positions at major financial institutions including HSBC, Nomura International, Citigroup Global Markets and Merrill Lynch, and has extensive experiences in global structured products and derivatives. Mark has a BA degree from the University of Wisconsin, USA and a Masters degree in Finance from the University of Hong Kong.
Fanny H.L. Chuck
15-year veteran in global financial markets. Started off her career with Credit Suisse First Boston as a regional banking analyst before moving on to the institutional sales desk at Nomura International, Fanny most recently was the Head of Research at Harris Fraser International before joining Tripod. Fanny has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Columbia University, USA.
